Awareness Seminar On World Suicide Prevention Day
The Healthy Campus Committee is going to organize an “Awareness Seminar on World Suicide Prevention Day” for the students of Sem. 3 on 09/09/2021. The seminar will be conducted by Motherhood Foundation, Ahmedabad. Speakers of the seminar are Dr. Twinkal Patel (Founder of Motherhood Foundation) and Dr. Kevin Patel (MD, Psychiatry).
The current situation has induced stress & depression in the youth. It usually leads to a person feeling sad, lonely, scared and sometimes lead to suicide. The aim of this seminar is to create awareness about mental health and help students identify the symptoms leading to suicidal attempts and its prevention.
