Seminar on Role of Girls in Nation Building

Gandhinagar University, managed by Platinum Foundation, organized a seminar on “Role of Girls in Nation Building” on 18th August 2022. The main aim behind organizing such event is to work towards the holistic development of girls through cultural awareness, which includes the upliftment of social and moral values and lead them to become responsible citizens of our country. The event was organized by the Women Development Cell of GU. This session was done in association with Vishwamangalaya Chhatra Sabha, The Resource Person was Kumari Shruti Mukund Deshpande who is purnakalik pracharak for vishwamagalaya sabha and is Kashi prant sanghatan mantri and Akhil Bharatiya Sanghatak for Vishwamangalya Chhatra Sabha. It was conducted for an hour and during this session, she gave various motivational examples of girls who contributed towards building a strong nation. She also explained that girls can develop effectively only if they have inherent ideas, virtues and values. She also focused on developing the good leadership qualities for Nation building. By means of this program, girls also enhanced their career goals and were inspired to become self-reliant.The Seminar was accomplished under the guidance of Trustees, Director – Dr. H N Shah, Management Staff, WDC Coordinators, Student Coordinators, participants and with the cooperation of Vishwamagalaya Sabha.
